Dinorwig Power Station

E A Foulds Lifts commissioned GTI Hoist Ltd to remove the Alimak goods hoist installed in 1981 at the Dinorwig Hydro Power Station. GTI HoistLtd replaced it with a bespoke rack and pinion goods hoist built by Torgar based in Spain. Thedesign of the hoist was supported by GTI Hoistexpertise. The hoist was installed in just 3 weeks by experience GTI Hoist engineers completed in June 2023. The goods hoist is used to transport components and large electrical cabinets for the National Grid.GTI Hoist Ltd have now handed the machine over and an independent insurance inspector has carried out further check to ensure its its compliance, this passed without a hitch.
