Sir John Parker commissioned GTI Hoist Ltd to replace his garage lift at his home. GTI Hoist Ltd designed a bespoke rack and pinion passenger/goods hoist. Sir John requested an industrial feel to the lift made of galvanised steel so it wouldn’t rust in its seaside location, he also wanted it to last for generations to come, he also requested it not to be visible from the outside(see video of it in operation coming out of the ground).GTI Hoist Ltd’s experienced Hoist engineers installed the bespoke rack and pinion hoist in February 2023, taking just 3 weeks. Sir Johns signed up to a service contract with LOLERinspections to be carried out every 3 months. The first 3 monthly service inspection has taken place; the lift was still working well.Sir John stated“ They have done a great job and I am happy with the product and out turn.
